Every Saturday, The Copper Bar heats up at La Fiesta: a vibrant, free celebration of global sounds and feel-good energy! Suéli Gil is a daughter of Angolan parents. Suéli Gil combines the folkloric rhythms of Semba and the Bahia Afro sounds or “Tropicália” movement to tell wholesome stories relating to her life. Her musical influences approach musicians such as Djavan, Gilberto Gil, Elis Regina, Gal Costa, Paulo Flores. FREE
