The day is broke; be wary, look about. The odds are stacked against young Romeo and Juliet. Everyone makes mistakes, some are more fatal than others. Love can't always save you, or her, or them, or anyone. But it matters. It matters worlds. It matters seas and stars and blood and breath. A pacy, pulsy thriller from 1597.
This raw and tender contemporary production explores impulse, crimes of passion, loyalty and moral reasoning, the ragged edges of gender categories, meaning-making in the face of adversity and decision-making in extremis.
